Our task is to adopt a multidisciplinary viewof trust within and between firms, in an effort tosynthesize and give insight into a fundamentalconstruct of organizational science. We seek toidentify the shared understandings of trustacross disciplines, while recognizing that thedivergent meanings scholars bring to the studyof trust also can add value.
